Convert your old glasses into prescription 3D or 2D glasses for RealD, MasterImage 3D, Linear 3D systems and passive 3DTVs. After placing your order, send us a pair of your old glasses and we will get them converted into prescription 3D glasses and return them. This will normally take from 1 to 3 weeks. They come complete with a choice of glass cases and a microfibre lens cleaning cloth as standard. Note, the RealD glasses can also safely be used as sunglasses. They are available in prescription strengths from -7 to +4 dioptres and cylinders from -4 to +4 dioptres, although the sum of the spheres and cylinders must be within the range of -7 to +4 dioptres.

There are two different types of Linear 3D glasses. They both use linear polarisers, but the orientation of the polarisers differ. One uses them set vertically and horizontally (0°/90°) and the other set diagonally (45°/135°). Please ensure that you get the correct ones otherwise they will not work and we cannot replace them for free. Below is a list of Imax cinemas that we know of, although we do not guarantee its accuracy.

If the 3D cinema is not listed above, contact us and we will endeavour to find out for you. Note: The 3D glasses do not work with the new laser 3D cinemas and the BFI Imax changed to using circular polarisers on 11^th Nov 2022, so you will need RealD glasses.

Note: The extra insurance option increases the insurance for the frames whilst in the mail to and from our supplier of our prescription lenses, and back to you from £50 to £500. Without this option, we will only refund the cost of the glasses you sent to us up to £50 if they get lost or damaged in the mail.
